Why Military Families?

Because we believe that American military dependents stationed overseas are a forgotten group of American teenagers. There are over 300,000 middle school & high school age U.S. military defendants and only about 100 youth workers specifically targeting that group.

God has big plans for Military dependents in middle school and high school. Because of their various array of experiences, Military students have a high level of relational and cultural adaptability. We believe that God wants to use us to show these students how they can impact their world through the Gospel.

Malachi Youth Ministry's vision is to be a disciple-making movement of God that transforms the world by reaching and equipping military students. The role we will play as Youth Workers in a military community is that we will be cultivating community, displaying God's heart for the nations, equipping students, and discipling students to become ministers themselves.

We want to do ministry with military families because God can and will use them to spread the Gospel to corners of the world that we could never go.
